Thanks Luke, that's a pretty accurate description of my design practice too, both generally and with regard to conceptual frameworks. Little did I know when watching Sesame Street as a young whipper-snapper that it was preparing me for the work of system design ["One of these things is not like the other ..."] :)
More recently, the concept of 'topoi' (places) from Aristotelian rhetoric is particularly relevant and useful to the 'P' part of the DSRP model.
